THOUSAND'S FLEE RUSSIAN ZONE EACH MONTH.
Received Tuesday, 8.30 p.m. . LONDON, Jan. 4. Refugees from Easterm Germany are fiowing into North Rhine-Westphalia, the largest province in the British Zone, at the rate of 10,000 monthly. Hundreds 'more find tlieir way into the zone without reporting, says the Times' Dusseldorf correspondenri AceordinL; to their own statements, the refugees have left the Russian Zone for politieal reasons or for personal safety. The total number of refugees in the British Zone today, is computed at 3,950,000.. In North Rhine-Westphalia aloue there are approximately 3,100,000 whicli represents 9 per eent. of the province 's total population.
