Personal Mrs. Calnan, • Senr., of Wellington, is spending a holiday witt her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. J. Calnan, of Stoul Street. Many Attend Race« AS usual when there is, a race meeting in the district. Shannon spent.a very quiet day last Saturday; The Palmerston North race meeting attracted a large numbei of local followers. The buse-s which ran from the town were'wei: filled and many private cars were headed- Awapuni way. Most followers reported an enjoyable day.
