Slight Easing Of Prices At Westfield Sale

Beef'was penned in averuge suppiy at the Westlield stock markets and although there was a ' steady demand values generalby were easier, lightweiglit good quality cattle being inostiy sought after. Bheep were penned in average nunibers and there was steady competition with values easing on iast week's sale. Lainbs were panned m large numbers and sold readiiy at'ffoin £1 10's to £2 ls Gd. There was a smaller yarding of calves than usual. Biildihg vvas very erratic and values generally were lower. Small veaiers and uniinished calves were aft'ected mostiy.
