Received Tuesday, 10.25 a.m. DURBAN, Dec. 20. England secured a dramatic win by two wickets in the first test match against South Africa. The winning run came off the last ball of the last over. Gladwin proudly exhibited a large bruise on his left thigh off which the winning leg bye was scored. South Africa had set England 128 runs to seore in a little over two hours, but rain and an injury to Noule cost precious time. England needed 15 runs in the last 15 ninutes, and won right on, time.
