Man Drowned When Dinghy Capsizes in Surf
NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 19. One of two brothers, oeeupants of a dinghy that overturned iu Ihe surf oft" Ohawe Beach, near Hawera yesterday, was drowned. He was Bertram Jolni Ooodman, aged 35, of Ohawe, a gasworks emplovee. He was exhausted when piifked up on a surf ski and was dead when brought to shore.
