Dux of the Horowhenua College this year is Nola .Gordon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gordon, The Avenue, Levin. Miss Gordon will be continuing her studies at the university next year, taking a sci- | ence course for a Bachelor of Science degree. The James Smellie -Memorial Bursary in agriculture was this j year awarded to Bernard Casey, son | of Mr. and Mrs. J. Casey of ParaI paraumu and formerly of Levin, j The awards for the best girl and : boy in ail college sports were ! ahnexed respectively by Noeline Staples and Peter McClune.
