F. Kilsby, Koputaroa, Numbering 160, tlie draft averaged 42.4 lbs. and o-nly' two of the lambs were not graded lambs. Commenting, the buyet sai'd it waS one of the best drafts he had ever handled. College Examinations The Horownenua college's record of successes in external examinations had been weil maintained, reported the principal, Mr. N. A. Byrne, speaking at yesterday's prize-giving ceremuny. The list of passes was as follows: — Science bursary, 3; university entrance, 13 (accredited) , 4 (by examination) ; higher school certificate, 2; school ceitificate, 21; Chamber of Commerce examination, 11; Pitman's shortnand-typing, 6.
