WELLINGTON /Dec. 10. The Westralla bringing 126 . Army personnel and 206 members of the Royal New Zealand, Air' Foree back from Japa'n has been delayed and will nof now arrive in the stream at Auckland until tomorrow afternoon, said thc Minister of Defence^/Hon. F. Jones; today. The Westralia is now expected to berth at 5 p.m. The travel arrangements previously announced, therefore, have been amended as follovy : — Personnel "for North Auckland wib disembarlc about 5.30 p.m. , and go to their homes by special bus scheduled- to arrive at Whangarei about 9.30 p.m. Those for Auckland City and (South Auckland will also disembark aboul 5.30 p.m. and go to their homes by army transpo.rt. The reinainder of the draft, botli Army and Air Force, will be accomuiodated iu Auckland on Saturday night iind will go to their homes on Sunday. as follow: — North Isiand personnel (including those for Wanganui but excluding those for the remainder of Taranaki) will travel by express leaving Auckland at (i p.m. and scheduled to arrive at Frankton at 8.24 p.m., Te Kuiti 10.28 p.iu., Taumarunui 11.33 p.m., Ohalaiue 1.58 a.m. on Monday, Taihape 3.42 a.m., Marton 5.15 a.m., Palmerston North 6.20 a.m.. Levin 7.14 a.m., Paekakariki 8.03 a.m., and Wellington 9.05 a.m. Servicemen for Wanganui v'll detrain at Marton and got their homes by Special bus departing 'at 5.30 a.m. Those for Hawke's Bay (including Wairoa) will detrain at Palmerston North and depart for their homes at 12 noon by the' Gisborne express arriving at Dannevirke at 1.33 p.m. on Monday, Waipawa at 3.10 p.m., Hastings . at 3.3.8 p.m., Napier at. 4.25 p.iu., and Wairoa at 7.35 p.iu. Those for Wairarapa will detrain at Palmerston North and proceed by railcar departing at 10.55 a.m. and schedu'ted to arrive at Pahiatua at 11.56 a.m., Eketahuna 12.25 p.m. and Masterton 1.01 p.m. The onward move beyond Masterton will be by army transport.
