Getting Ready For Show
The Horowhenua Agrictiltural and Pastoral Association's show committee 'heM its last meeting of the. year last night, when further arrangements were made for the coming event, Last year the show had to be abandoned because of the outbreak of polio.. but this year's show will be held. and it promiseS to be a really outstanding event. Recently the committee conducted a postal drive for membership and the secretary, Mr. -J. E. Fullarton reported last night that to date 37 new members had beerr secured as a result.
