Post Office Prepared For Christmas Rush

-With -only another ten working days-until Christmas, ■ the staff ,at the,,Leyin Post Office is .already being pressed to cope with the increasing amount of mail which is passing through t'he office. ■By the end of next' week, it is 'expected, that the peak will be reached in outWard postifigs. The inward mails will then commence. At normal times, about 50 bags of mail and parcels are handled each day. This" amounts to approximately 20,000 articles per week. On some days, 120 bags will pass through the «> office. The inward mails are almost the same, from 10,000 to • 15,000 articles being handled.
