Successful Flower Show At Waitarere
The first flower show ever to be held. at 'Waitarere took place re-j cently and was an- unqualifie'd Suc- | cess. It was organised by the Wai- j tarere Womeh's InStitifte and was officially opened by the president of the South Wellington Pederation, Mrs. H. S. ToWeil. There were no less than 365 entfips, all of a high stan'dard. The jUdges were Mrs. K". Black (but flowers), Mrs. Bartlett (deeorative) , Mrs. Evans (hoihe ifidustries and needlework) and Mr. Evans (vegetables).
