Gasometer Explodes In Berlin
Received Thursday, 9.45 a.m. BERLIN, Dec. 8. Gas storage facilities in the Russian sector of Berlin have been cut by one-third following an explosion of a big gasometer. An American official said it blew up yesterday when the Russians attempted to overload it, and escaping gas was ignited. No casualties are reported.
