A motion that permission tbe not granted ' was put to the meb'olrig: Supporting the application, Cr. C. H. Nelson Said that.he had seen the area concerned and did .not think that there -was a fire risk involved, as the distance from the proposed exterision to any other .buiiding was too gr'eat. It did 'seem a pity that no fire resisting materials other than brick could ,be used. He' was all for helping all persons struggling to build up*. 'a business.
