Europe's Economy Under Marshall Plan
WASHINGTON, Dec. 4. The staff of the joint Gongressional committee on economic cooperation, reported today. that Western Enrope's economy had made important .gains under the Marshall plan. The* report added that it was difficult to determine to what extent accomplishments today. represented a real unifieation of Western Europe but in general industrial production in the countries participating in the Marshall plan was higher during the first seven fo nihe months of this year than fgr the corresponding period of last year.
