Lady Bowlers' Club Day
In spite of the very . unsettledweather conditions which prevailed" ^ariy on Tuesday, there were te'n members of ' the Shannon Bowling Cluh (Ladies' Seetion) on the green for their usual' weekly cluh day. A most enjoyable afternoon was spent rolling up the bowls. The following is the draw for the pairs competition: — Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Graham, . Mrs. Laing and Mrs. Peni, Mrs. H. Stern and Mrs. Edmonds, Mrs. Coghlan and Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Burtt and Mrs. Aitchison, Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mrs. C. Stern and Mrs. Batt, Mrs. Clough and Mrs. Cronquest, Miss Macdonald and Mrs Tricker. Players are asked to communicate with their partners md play their matches as soon as possible.
