Melbourne Bakers Resuming Work
Received Tuesdav, 7.10 p.m. .MELBOURNE, Nov. 9. After a 22 day strike, the bakers decided this afternoon to return to work. For the past three weeks it has been virtuallv impossible to obtain bread in Melbourne or the other main provincial cities. Master bakers made some bread but barely enough for the hospitais and institutions and pickets pj^vented bread baked in the suburbs from reaching consumers. The bakers, who struck= because the Wages Board did not give them a 5.30 a.m. start instead of 4 a.m., decided, after all, to leave the matter to the Wages .board.
