Fat Sheep Values Show Marked Decline

There was .a papacity yarding of fat sheep at the Leyin sale yes.ter'4ay, when values showed % marked decrease of from 5s to 10s per head. This has mainly been brppght about by the dry weather in putlying districts, with stock being quoted at values well below rulingi rates in past ' weeks. The ea'sing seems tov be of a perm'anent nature and indications are that fat ,#ock^.and wethers cspecially, will flrm at values ranging from 38s 6d to 48s'. Prime ewes were steady at slightly in advance of schedule rates, while priine 1-amb.s sold at approximately ls to ls ld per lb. Few stoto sheep were penned and values for these were naturally rehected by the prices which obtainbd for "fat stock. • s .
