Personal Before the commencenieht . of business at the October meeting ,q.f the Otaki-Te Horo branch of tne' Women's Division of Federated Farmers, the president, Mrs. Blackburne, called oh ali present to scand in si.ence as a mark of. respect to the memo'ry of the late Mrs. Townrow, a member of the branch, and the late Mr. Witchell," who acied as auditor to the branch for many years, and who gave much valued help at all times. To Mrs. Witchell and Mr. Townrow, the heartfelt sympathy of all members of the branch was extended. Successful Shop Day The executive of the Otaki Branch of the Labour Party copducted an outstandingly successful shop day on Fr.day and wish to thank all tnose who supported -it in any way. Competitions were won as follows: — Mesdames Hawkins and Lucas, and Messrs. Evans and J. Johnson.
