GREEK LIBERAL MEMBER BEATEN UP
Received Tuesday, 9.55 a.m. ATHENS, Nov- 8. Fellow members beat up a Liberal member, M. George Borozanis, and bodily threw him out ofthe Assembly Chamber today. The crowded House broke into an uproar when a move was made to expel M. Borozanis, who yesterday added his signature t-o the eable sent to the president of the Security Council, Dr. H. V. EVatt, by severn former Greek Gabinet Ministers supporting the Australian efforts ht the United Nations to negc.Liate a settiement of the Greek ail'air. The cable said: "The Civil war hiust be ended only by the means oi' conciliation. The initiative taxen by the Australian delegation 1 as been received with full satisfaction by the majority of the Greek people. Your effort to bring the Balkan nations to an understanding is the only thing capable oi restoring the Balkans' peace." i Members shouted and booed, and then rushea M. Borozanis by force out oi' the Chamber. He had to be rescued by the police from his angry colleagues, who were still si riking him outside.
