Personal • Mrs. H. F. Tews, of Tasman Road, was a. weekend visitor t'o Napier. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Fogde'n, of Tasman Road, left on Saturday for a holiday in Hamilton and Auckland. Ilolidays Carried Forward Boxing Day and the dhy fpllowing New Year's Day this y.ear fall on Sundays, and9, as with Christ-! mas Day and New Year's Day, they will be carried forward and will be observed as paid holidays on the following Tuesdays. This" is the position as stated by an officer of the Labour and Employment Department.
