stqc.k from the Horpwhenna district was prQminent in the list of av/ards at the reeord Manawatu spring show, which" eoncluded on Saturday. ;Messrs» H, J. Lancaster and Son (Levin) won the reserve championship with their Jersey oow, Heatherlea Guide, and also the Jersey Club Cup for twQ-year-Old heifers, The Manawatu-Hawke'g Bay Milking Shorthorn Cup for yearffng bulls was annexe'd by Mr. D. Competing in the oompetitions, Allan Butt (Levin) gained second place in the class for boy rfders, 12 years ahd Uflder 14, - On Saturday hight displays were given 'by girls marching Heams, Shamrocks (Levin) and Bandoliers (Otaki) being amang those taking part.
