. I _ Domain Committee Praised iCr. H. Aitchisori paid a tribute, to •the Shannon Domain Improvement Committee at the recent •meeting of 'the Shannon Borough Council when he stated that the committee was doing exeellent wofk on the domain and was a cre'dit to the town. Cr. Aitchison stated that altho.ugh. . it .was the council's duty to look after the domain, it was getting out very lightly as the committee was doing most of th% work in keeping the piaying area in order. It was agreed to spend the money received from the 'Horowhenua Rugby .Union as a percentage of the football gate takings in assisting the domain committee in its work of cutting the grass.
