Mon'day and Tuesday were particularly good days, when several excellent catches were made. Remembrance Sunday There are to be special services at the Angliean Churches at Te HOro, Manakau and. Otaki next Sunday on tne occasion of Remembrance Day. At 10.45 a.m., during the services, the two minutes' silence will be observed. Bowling Tourney A tournament will be heM at the Otaki Railway Bownng green on Sunday, commencmg at" 10.30 a.m. Rinks from Eastbourne, Wellington and Palmerston North have signified their intention of being present, and many others are expected. Successful Dance The dance organised by the Junior Na'tional Party, and hel'd in .tne Angliean Hall on Wednes'day night, was well attended and an enjoyable time was spent. The function was termed a barn dance. The hall resembled a barn, an'd many humorous novelty prizes were awarded real products of the 'barnyard, such as bales of straw and green vegetables. They cause'd • much merriment. Novelty dance winners were Miss Doreen Bills and Mr. W. Bradley, M.ss Betfey Eaton and Mr. R. Nicholson, ^nd Miss Val. Horrobin and Mr. S. thomson. Mr. J. Miiler carried out the duties of M.C.
