"Those who serid indeeen,t telegrams to wedding funetions liiust, eithei" intend to insult the bride and bfidegroom on an important day' of their lives or else tliey assume-that the couple will enjoy hearing indecent things said to thepi in company, " said the Rev. J. A. Thomson, convener of the life and work committee, in presenting his committee's report to the General Assembly of the Presb'yterian Cliurch. ' ' I arn suro most of those who send such telegrams would not dare to say in pei'son wliat they can send with inipunity over the telegrapli wires. " , The Rev. Thomson urged .that telegrams sliould be censored befoi'e they were read at wedding reception3. The report was adopted. •
