AMAZING— MR. VYSHINSKY

Received Thursday, 10.20 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. "Amazing" was the comment of Mr. Vyshinsky as he left the United Nations General Assembly session in Paris after seeing the latest American Presidential election returns. The Associated Press' Paris correspondent says that the British and Commonwealth delegates to the United Nations expressed both joy and amazement. An official said that President Truman's return would be "good for Britain, good for the Commonwealth and good for the world." Asked how he would have voted if he were an American, the New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr. Peter Fraser, answered unhesitatingly, "For Truman." Mr. Hector McNeil (Britain) said: "Happily in America, as in England, people are always right. Any further comment from me would be superfluous." ,
