Otaki Golfers In Canadian Foursome

With a number of members attehding a wedding, there was only a small attendance at the Otaki Golf Club on Saturday to contest a Canadian Foursome. Some good cards were returned, the winners, E. Gray and N. Willis, combining well to return 75 — 9 — 66. A semi-final of the Len 'Shepherd Memorial between E. Jensen and J. Winterburn was played on Saturday, Winterburn winning the match on the seventeenth green. He will now meet W. Rzoska in the final to be played next weekend.1 A Sealed Hole competition will be played' next Saturday, and the club will officially close the season on Saturday, November 13. This wil be a general tea day.
