Paris Paper Discusses Princess' Suitors
Received Tuesdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 1. Possible suitors for Princess JYlargaret's hand ,are_ discussed by tlxe newspaper Franee f8oir in Paris. In a lengthy article headed by a portrait of the Princess, * it claimed that three men are being mentioned — Lords Blandford, Dalkeith and Ogilvv. The article dismisses Lord Ogilvv. OI Lord Blandford it comments concerning his visit to Balmoral in August: "This is the supreme test for all tlie candidates- for the, hand of the Princess. But since her return from Scotland Princess Margaret has not been seen once in public with him. "At one time Princess Margaret told her family that she was about to announ.ee her engagement to Lord Blandford, but the Queen insisted that she should wait for tvvo years, saying, 'It is necessarv for ypu to be sure you really love him.' " .,The paper says of Lord .Dalkeith^ "It was notieed that when they went to the Prince of Wales Theatre last Tuesday he had eyes on no one else. "
