Personal Mr. Eob Stevenson, formerly of Otaki and now of Taita, was a weekend visitor to Otaki. Mrs. E. A. Skjellerup, who has been a resident of Otaki for 30 years, left last week to take up resi^ence ait Lower Hutt. Mr. Fred Knox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Knox, has passed physics stage 11 of his Bachelor of Science examination.
Mrs. V. Noble, of Matene Street, has returned home after spending. a holiday at Taita. Her daugh- . ter, Mrs. Bob Stevenson, and fam-; ily have returned with her to spend a short holiday in Otaki. Fall From, Cycle ; Miss Joyce Taylor, daughter of j Mr. and Mrs. N. Taylor, of Rangx- | uru, on Saturday morning had the misfortune to suffer a nasty i fall when her bicycle skidded in; loose metal. She suffered several abrasions, including a ratner ! nasty gaSh to her chin, but is rapidly recovering. Branch of Institute Formed A fairiy weil attended and representative meeting held at Tasman Beach during last week decided that a branch of the Women's Institute should be formed at the beach. Officers were elected.
