The boy'aged six from the Otaki Borough, who Was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital last week as an infantiie paralysis suspect, has now been diagnosed as a positive case. An additional case of poliomyelitis, that of a girl of six from Eastbourne, was reported in Wellington yebterday. One class of the Eastbourne school has been plosed under the provisions of the. recently announced scDedule of precautiOns. The second positive . poliomyelitis case in Nelson City was admitted to the Nelson Public Hospital on Thursday. The patient is a man aged 34.
