J TIMARU, Oct. 11. An amended plea of guilty was . offered by Thomas Ewert Gili, proprietor of the Timaru egg floor, an(i Eeginald Tong, accountant, Christchurch, wlieu they appeared before ATr. Justice Fleming in the Supreme Court today. They had pleaded 11 ot guilty in the lower court to cliarges of conspiring with eacli otlier by deceit to (lofraud the Government of £1861 3s 4d, representing the subsidy 011 a lictit.ions supply of eggs. Prisoners were reraand- | ed for sentence till Wednesday.
