Personal Mr. A. Bishop, of Mill Road, was on Thursday admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital suffering from pneumonia. Mr. C. Bell, of Rangiuru, Ls -a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital, where 'he is to undergo an operation. Among Chinese sailing* for China at an early 'date is Mr. Young Won, who has resided in the dis--trict for more than 30 years. He left for Auckland on Fnday. The pupils proved an appreciative audience, and were extremely pieased when given the opportunity to ask questions.
