WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. An announcement regarding the due date for the payment of land tax on land held by taxpayers other than companies was made tonight. by Mr. i Nash. He said the due date is normallv a day early in October and demands are posted a few days beforehand. This year, owing to an unavoidable delay in assessment work, it had been necessary to postpone the due date for payment until January, 1949. The actual d.ate will be notified lafier in the usual way and the demands posted short-ly before that date. Mr. Nash said the due date for the payment of land tax by companies had not been postponed and had been fixed at October 27,
