Four thousaml Conservative delegates at the Barty's biggest annual confei'ence at Llandudno, banned constituency associations demanding large subscriptions from Parliamentary candidates. Speakers declared that constituency associations had demanded that prospective candidates must guarantee half election expenses. That had meant that only persons of means counld stand for election to Conservative seats.
