Althrmgh the Soviet hemline has dropped in most outlits, the skirts of working (lresses and sportswear staved just below the knee. Fur trimmings liberally splashed the Russian ereations. New lieavv silks were featured ehieflv in evening dresses. The traditional Russian hand-embroidered blouse was another highlight to be vvoj'n in future, the designers hope, with the longer skirt.
