Savoury Dish

Mash the contents of a 12oz tin of corned beef loaf or camp-pie until creamy and siflooth. Season with a gcnerous teaSpoon of thin made mustard and quarter-tea-spoon pepper. Beat this meat paste into double its quantity of freshly eooked mashed potato, adding a tablespoon of finely shredded parsley. Don't add milk upless the -mixture is too thick to be smooth. Grease a tin tart plate or shallow oven-proof dish. Fress mixture into a flat cake about 1-h in thjck. Smooth top and brush over with melted butter. Put into a fairly hot oven until the outsidd is crisp and browned.

Serve in the dish with little bits of fried bacon or poached eggs on top.
