Gaol For Man Found Near Nurses' Home

MASTERTON, Oct. 7. Charged with having been found without lawful excuse in the Aucinity of the nurses' home at Masterton Hospital last night, George Paku, aged 20, labourer, out on licence from Borstal, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment in the Masterton Magistrate's Court today. Police evidence showed that Paku was seen peeping through j windows of nurses' bedrooms. A 'sister .organised the nurses, went out in the grounds and, with other assistance, rounded up acG-used and handed him over to ^the police.
