Personal Mrs. J. MacLeod, of Convent Road, who is a pa&ient in Amara Private Hospital, Levin, is making rapid progress following an operation. Mr. W. Scatchard, of Rangiuru Road, on Tuesday had the misfortune to suner a painful injury through an axe siipping and severing a tendon in his hand. Stitches were inserted.
