Nicholson Cup Golf Won By D. H. Tomlinson

The fourth and final round of the Nicholson Cup competition was played by member-s of the Levin Golf Club on Saturday under excellent conditions. D. H. Tomlinson,. who headed all .competitors at the .. conclusion of ' the third roun'd, played a sterling game to return a card of 69 nett and win the competition with an aggregate score of 207 for his three .best rounds. Two points behind the. winner was O. C. Lagor, whose consistent scoring over the latter part of the season has been a fdature, and. his card of 68 on Saturday just faile'd him. W. S. Ogier and J. Corry scored evenly over the four rounds of the competition. That they gained third and fourth places respectively was a tribute to the improvement they have shown in their games and their enthusiasm.
