FATHER AND SON INJURED IN MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENT

PAEKAKARIKI, Oct. 4. A man and his son were both injured when the motor-cycle on which they were riding left , the road and crashed into a ditch at McKay's Crossing, near Paekakariki this morning. a They Were: Lyhn Fuller Thetford, Miramar, Wellington, aged about 55, 'brOken collar bone and slight abrasions; 'Henry Lynn Thetford, his son, ■ aged about 20, lacerations to face and abrasions to right leg. Both were taken to hospital by the Wellington Free. Ambulance. The accident occurred at 11 a.m. when the motor-cycle, which was being driven by the son, from Wellington, failed to make the righthand turn on the northern side of the crossing.
