Mails close at the Shannon Post Office, at the following times: — For Levin, Foxton, Wellington and the South Island, daily except Sunday at 7.30 a.m.; for Wellington and the South Island on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1.30 p.m. and Monday to Friday at 4.10 p.m.; for Palmerston North and, northern offices, Monday to Friday at" 10.40 a.m. and on Saturday only at 8.45 a.m. * Mails for the Makerua rural delivery close from Monday to Friday at 5 p.m. and on Saturday only at 9 a.m. •
