Yugoslavs Back Tito Against Russia
Received Priday, 8.50 p.m. BELGRADE, Oct. 1. Amid storms of cheering and applause the National Assemhly passed "by acclamation a seven-point resolntion directed against the "campaign of slander" hy Russia and the Cominform countries and "their attempt to incite Yugoslavs to revolt against their Government." . The whole Assemhly and the spectators in the puhlic galleries rose to their feet clapping, cheeriiig and shouting "Tito"! Ma'rshal Tito acknowledged the applause and appeared deeply moved. The resolution said: "In view of Yugoslavia's correctness towards the Cominform countries and Soviet Russia, Yugoslavia is surprised at the campaign conducted hy ueighhouring States and even Russia during the past three months. This House cannot reniain unconcerned at the attack and the attackers hecause the attack is directed against the whole country as it. is impossihle to divide our political leaders from our State policy. Therefore we condenrn the campaign."
