Fire Destroys Sawmill
WESTPORT. Sept. 20. Fire eompletely destroyed the Kopara Sawmilling Companv's mill ncar Totara last night at 11 o'cloclc. The cause of the outbreak is not known but with the blav.e fanned by a wind ,of alrnost gale force, it was impossible to attenrpt to save any of the plant. The fire, however, did not spread to adjacent stocks of timber. The mill had a daily output- of 500V feet and employed 10 men.
