Koputaroa W.I.'s Meeting

^ , .-«r. The September meeting of the Koputaroa Women's Institute was held in the Koputaroa Hall, Mrs. Pene presiding over a good attendance of members. A letter was read from the acting-director of the Levin Farm-, Mr. D. M. Tothill, thanking members for their :assistanee at the farm in providing pleasure for the children. Mrs. Brown gave a report on her trip to the W.I. conference in Wellington. Mesdames A. M. Koberstein and D. W. Pratt were appointed as delegates to attend the council meeting at Waikanae next week. Monthly competitions resulted as follows: — Pikelets (senior) : Mrs. z. Hood 1, Mrs, C. Storey 2, Mrs. G. Sanson 3. Pikelets (junior) : Audrey Storey 1. Flower (senior) : Mesdames Netten and Thompson 1 (equal). Flower (junior) : Audrey Storey 1. • Shrub : Mrs. Hood. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames G. and A. M. Koberstein.
