HUSBAND FACES TWO COUNTS OF ATTEMPTED MURDER

PALMERSTON N., Sept. 13. As the result of the shooting incident at the Manawatu Heads on Saturday night, Cecil Edward Davey, aged 38, textile worker, husband of the female victim and father of -six children, was charg-e-d in the Poiice Court, Palmerston North this morning. He faced two charges, the first, with the attempted murder of Sadie Davey and the second, with the attempte'd murder of Thomas Sands, aged about 28, fisherman pf Manawatu Heads. On the application of the police a remand was granted until September 29. Both victims of the shooting were today reported 'to be in a satisfactory condition.
