Personal Miss Margaret MacLean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. MacLean, Clapham Street, has been selected as the Town Queen in the forthcoming war memorial hall carnival. Quiz Competition With some 50 persons already entered, the posers, penalties and p'roflts quiz, which is to be conducted by Mr. "San'dy" Pope on behalf of the Shannon R.S.A. parcels for Britain fund in the ■Renown Theatre on September 29, promises to be an outstanding success. An excellent colilection of prizes has been oifered by the business people of the town.- The draw to select the lucky competitors will take place at the Renown Theatre tomorrow evening.
