An application from the Horowhenua Rugby 'Union, asking for the use of the domain to play the final of the Licensed Victuallers' Cup on Sept. 25, was dealt with at Otaiki Borough Council meeting on Wednesday night. The application stated that the union realised that the date was very late, and that the rules of the cup stated that the final must be played at Otaki. The works committee recommended that the application be declined.
