SCHOOLS TO REMAIN CLOSED
WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. Measures for minimising the spread of poliomyelitis have been ander discussion, said the Minister of Health, Miss Howard, today. It nad been decided to keep the Wellington and Hutt Valley schools closed for oRfe further week?;, and children under 16 years of. agff are lo be excluded from attending picture theatres. The announcement of other measures to be adopted when the sjhools reopen was, therefore, delayed until next week, she added.
