Two men, one of whom earlier aecused tlie other of stealiug from him, shot and killed a policeman while they were being driven to the police statiop.,. robbed another policeman, stole a civilian 's car, shot their wav out of the basenient of the Crimipal Coni't where they drove mistakenly, and kid uappecl John Jackson, assistant chief of Ne$ Orieans detectives, outside the adjoining police sfation, says the Fnited Press New Orieans eorrespond- : ent. Jackson was later foimd unharmed 60 miles from New Orieans.
