Television Soon Within Reach Of All

Received -Monday,, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept, -5. In. its annual report, the B.B.C. expresses the opinion that the time when all forms of entertainment will be televised in Britain is now within reach, and that agreements will be finalised with various interests which s© far have opposed the granting of a television right. The report states that schemes which will greatl.v increase the range of television services within the United Kingdom ar^ now well developed, and importarit research into ultra-short waves should shortly mean generally improved radio reception. The report makes it clear that only shortages in labour and restrietions upon the use of materials are delaying the B.B.C. 's extensive development programme. .
