It is believed the ftite of Mr. Gotmilka and other (iissident Communists, utrs decided at a Gommunist executi>e jileiiary laeeiing last week when ''Kigii Wiiig and Nal ioimlistie deviatious inside ihe l'arty.'' ueie discussed. It was annonneed on Saturday that President l'.e.rnt had aeeepted an ' ' aeiive loie*" in ihe I'olish Workers' Party in response to a l'arty appeal. ' ' The aiiiiouncement added that Mr. Gomnlka committed three major ideological errors. Firstly, he did not apprtciate the Soviet Comniunist Party 's decisive role in the fight against imperialism and 1'ell imder nationalisstic and hourgois influences. Secondly, he failed to appreciate the neceasity for a stern class struggle against capitalistic peasants. Thirdly, he favoured conciliatory tactics towards Yugoclav Communist leaders. The announcement also named the leader of the Communist Party in the Polish Parliament, Mr. Zenon Kliszko, and the chief Communist spokesman in Parliament, Mr. Wladyslaw Bienkowki, as dissident supporters of Mr. Gomulka's policy. The Associated Press correspondent at Warsaw says the statement relating to Mr. Gomulka's dismissal, claimed that half the Polish workers' Pai+y's 1,000,000 memhers were nationalistic and Right Wing deviationists from the orthodox international Marxist line. The correspondent 'comments that upon the outcome of President Beirut's eli'orts at resolving the most serious crisis'in the Party 's history, depends whether the Communists will retain their grip onpower in Poland.
